"The reality of yesterday has still not sunk in, and it is unlikely to for a very long time. Everyone here in Alzenau is feeling the loss of our team-mate and friend Craig deeply, and we are supporting our colleagues through this incredibly difficult time. 

To say he was a much valued and well-regarded member of our team only touches the surface. Craig had a passion for rallying that ran deep. He was more than just a driver, he was a true lover of the sport. Craig wore his heart on his sleeve, something that enamoured him to so many people. He had a way with words that was completely unique; his end-of-stage quotes were always a highlight.

Craig was also a phenomenal driver. There are so many highlights, both within our team and in the rest of his career, but in Rally Sweden he showed us his true essence. He was performing at the top of his game and reminding us all of the incredible talent he possessed. That podium meant a lot to us as a team, but you could see just how much it meant to him. 

It is clear the whole rallying community and beyond is feeling this profound loss. The outpouring of grief and sadness in the past day is testament to the man that Craig was. He leaves behind a legacy within Hyundai Motorsport and the wider motorsport community that is difficult to put into words. Rest in peace, dear friend."

Każdy mówi wielki talent, ale również nie zapominajmy Wspaniały młody chłopak, uśmiechnięty, prawdziwie przeżywający każdy sukces (nie wstydził się uronić łzy) z wielkim bagażem doświadczenia, również tych bardzo ciężkich życiowo ( śmierć pilota). 

Ciężko wytłumaczyć jak to się stało, ja to porównuje do filmu Oszukać przeznaczenie. Brak słów jak przy dzisiejszych standardach bezpieczeństwa w najwyższej klasie może przytrafić się taki wypadek ... . Jedynie możemy mieć nadzieje że ta śmierć nie "pójdzie na marne" i zostaną wyciągnięte jakieś wnioski  oraz poczynione kroki żeby coś takiego, co nie jest rzadkością jak się okazuje nie powtórzyło się już nigdy !!!. Spoczywaj w pokoju Craig.

Takiego cię zapamiętamy!.

Unreal news: Craig is not with us anymore. This cannot happen!  

Craig's passion for driving, any car, anytime, was unstoppable. 
Nothing was too small for him. He came to Finland to learn snow driving and did a little Riihimäki rally in a privately built old Peugeot. 
I was proud when Craig came to my home event Itäralli 2020. 
After enjoying a smoke sauna, he was not afraid to jump into an icy river in the middle of the winter night. 

His eyes were bright, his smile was contagious. He represented Irish fairplay at its best. 
With Craig's passion, one can move mountains.

I am priviliged to know Craig's parents, Ray and Jackie, his sister Kellie and his girlfriend Tamara.
Since many years, we watched The Thousand Lakes Rally together cheering Craig.
A close-knit, warm family. They lived with Craig his every up and down.
I cannot imagine their torment.
May Lord give them strength to pass what is humanly unpassable. 

Life takes incredible twists.
Gareth "Jaffa" Roberts, the co-driver of Craig, and Craig died in similar accidents.
They were like shooting stars.
They gave wings to the dreams of many. 
Now they are back together in Heaven"

Jedyne co pozytywne w takiej sytuacji jeżeli wogole można mowic o pozytywach  to fakt ze Craig do ostatnich sekund swojego życia robił to co kochał. Bardziej bezsensowna choć równie dotkliwa jest utrata kogoś w idotycznym wypadku jak np. Św pamięci Janusz Kulig albo przez chorobe jak np: Richard Burns , Marcin Turski czy choćby ostatnio Zyszek Cieślar.
