"LUKOIL WINTER RALLY 2008"

15th International Lukoil Winter Rally 2008 (Visaginas, Zarasai, Ignalina)

 

TIME

The Rally takes place on 26 January 2008

 

STATUS

The first round of Lithuanian and Latvian Rally Championships for groups A, N, R and WRC

 

PRIZES

Overall places 1 – 6 and the best three crews in each class will be awarded cups

 

ROUTE

The total length of the route is 198,60 km, consisting of 13 special stages of total 93,90 km (results of Special Stage 13 not included in the rally classification).

There will be 6 repeated stages.

Reconnaissance 70 km/h on icy roads.

 

PROGRAMME

05 December 2007 – pre-registration starts

11 January 2008 – entries closed (for foreign entrants - 14 January 2008 - under advance agreement)

25 January 2008 - reconnaissance

25 January 2008 – scrutineering and marking of turbos for foreign entrants

26 January 2008 at 8.30 – start of the Rally, the square next to the hotel “Aukštaitija“, Visaginas

26 January 2008 at 15.20 – finish of the first rally car

 

ENTRY FEES

The entry fees for the participants are as follow:

* per crew (see 7.1) 1200 LTL (350EUR) There are many special offers for foreign competitors (please contact Mr. Benediktas Vanagas at +370 659 09990 or benediktas.vanagas@pitlane.lt).

 

TO THE PUBLIC

The special stages are organized on the icy roads of North East Lithuania. Start and finish of the rally is held at Visaginas city (mostly known by there located nuclear power plant). This year the Rally Booklet for the public will be published as an extra page of the “15min” newspaper before the Rally. The Booklet includes the list of the participants, maps of the special stages, traffic patterns, timetables, and other interesting information.

Zawsze to dużo bliżej niż na rajd Szwecji.

co do noclegu, to sprobuje sie dowiedziec, co i jak...

Ja bardzo chetnie bym sie wybrał, ale chyba bede miał w tym terminie sesje . W kazdym razie jesli jakoś szczesliwie ułozyłyby mi sie egzaminy, to może uda mi sie pojechac . A jesli nie, to mysle ze przy okazji jakiegos innego rajdu wpadne.
