  1. OBK 3 with SOHC 2.5 EJ253 engine is completely another animal that does not exhibit 2000-3000RPM hesitation problem. The most often problem is plugs\plug wires( may not be applicable for MY2007 engine ) or ignition modules with its plug insulators. ALL subaru engines have a problem with main connector from the engine to car body wiring. This connector is located under throttle body passenger side. And it may need to be clean\serviced.
  2. EJ20F may not need valve job as often as EJ204 engine. You may also add up to 0.05 mm for LPG fuel. Test intake air pressure at idle after active driving in order to verify whether valve clearance adjustment have to be done.

    Błędy co jest nie tak

This is a faulty secondary air system. There is an expensive repair that will run a year or two till the next failure. Most usually car owners disable this system.
  4. Make a log of the problem and upload the result. Most probably the problem will become evident. https://www.drive2.ru/l/6520034/

    Błąd P0030

P0030 error is due to the soot inside the air fuel sensor. Sensor is quite good for engine control moreover JDM and Middle East versions of ecu never tested this conditions upto model year 2008. You may install a fresh sensor or reflash the ecu. You may reset the error by any OBD tool or OBD dongle with a free software after a fresh sensor is installed. Or wait up upto 20 drives while ecu resets\forget this error. Legacy08 will not reset this error after battery disconnect.
  6. There are two major problems with MY01-MY05. Ignition system failure ( plugs and high voltage cables ) and false knock ignition retard. The first needs to carefully check plugs outer insulators AND inner surface of cable plug insulators. Electrical discharge traces are usually seen. In such a case the plug AND the HV cable should be changes together. False knocking requires the knock sensor and its wiring to be inspected. Any free wire moving may simulate false knock signal. If sensor wiring rerouting not solves false knocking then ecu reflash fills the bill. To diagnose the real problem you are to make a log of your usual driving and the log after ecu reset.
  7. Disconnect the valve and start the car. Accelerator should work correctly. Flat spot at 2000-3000rpm is another problem and is discussed here https://forum.subaru.pl/topic/33085-dławienie-20-na-2-3-tys-rpm-coś-nowego/
  8. Disconnect the driver side secondary air valve. Rusty valve cause a lot of throttle sensor errors. Accelerator\throttle operation should be restored, secondary air system errors will come. If this solves your problem, deactivate the secondary air system by flashing or install a fresh valve. Unfortunately a new valve does not live long.

    EGR AAAWARIAAA POMOCY!

    EGR AAAWARIAAA POMOCY!

Remove the alternator belt and move the alternator up. Remove the EGR valve. EGR valve itself and\or piping inside the intake manifold may be blocked.

    EGR AAAWARIAAA POMOCY!

This is correct EGR valve location. P0400 is due to blocked EGR.

    EGR AAAWARIAAA POMOCY!

You have marked a secondary air system valve. EGR valve is located near the red cap of the alternator cable.
  13. All those programs are applicable for any Subaru ( besides R2, Justy, Sambar ) from model year 1999 to 2014 engines and later where SSM2 protocol is supported.
  14. https://forums.drom.ru/subaru/t1151462005-p5.html#post1108335240 Parameter list and software for EJ20F / EJ204 https://www.drive2.ru/l/6520034/ ecuExplorer does not verify a secondary air system. For complete error list use FreeSSM software. The most experienced computer guru's may prefer Romraider Logger. Use Google Translate
  15. Repair of a secondary air system is rather expensive and new components live just about a year before the next failure.
  16. The above is correct for automatic TZ transmission of Legacy06AT .

    LPG w Subaru

I am probably incorrect about EZ36 LPG compatibility. There most probably were 2 generation of EZ36. The first one pre MY08 has no advantages against EZ30 for LPG installation. The next generation has completely another cooling system that cools engine heads down first of all and makes cylinders hotter. LPG should runs longer without valve clearance inspections. Oil consumption should rise sooner.
  19. Łukasz, I am glad to know that your car runs as it should at last. I wish you finalize LPG mixture settings in order to finally tune the car for petrol and LPG operation. Here in Russia Legacy MY10/11 were not able to leave dealers due to 2000-3000 rpm hesitation problem. And I am afraid about the same situation is everywhere Subaru tries to sell/support those cars.

    LPG w Subaru

Most often there was EZ36 to EZ30 swap. EZ36 is rather rare to find. For LPG you just need EZ36 head. Mechanics told me that heads are compatible anyway have not check this personnally. And yes, the original ecu maybe used for any combination EZ30\EZ36 short blocks and heads. Exhaust AVCS and AVLS is not a limitation.

    LPG w Subaru

EZ30 LPG fueled engine needs valve adjustment each 40-50 kkm. EZ36 lives above 150kkm without. I have seen a lot of them healthy. There is no need to pay for inspection. Rough idling of your warm engine will tell you to pay for valve service.
  22. According to FHI ( and other car makers ) you are to buy a new car each 3-5 years and do not try to revive teenagers.
  23. Improper AVCS work OR ignition timing retard may cause this sound and poor acceleration. Try to log this improper engine working.
